Oticon - Not a good choice
My husband bought these hearing aids - they were his third pair - each one more expensive than the previous. These hearing aids have several programs but you can't use them unless you set the volume and leave it in one place.
My husband likes to change the volume which doesn't allow him to use the various programs like diminishing the background noise. He also isn't able to go in to have them adjusted without a fee. This is really a rip off. We are pretty disgusted with this hearing aid.
It advertises one thing but doesn't really deliver. He has found another one which is better and 1/3 the price.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

I want to know if I am the only person with so much problems with Oticon Nero. The one on the left stopped working in less than 2 years. The same one died again in 3 years and is no longer under warranty.
I have an early set of the OPN1 hearing aids and unlike all the complainers here I have been EXTREMELY happy with them over the first 4 years of use. I am having an issue with them cutting in and out right now - it is VERY hot and humid -I will be contacting my audiologist on Monday to see what can be done - they are almost 5 (or is it almost 6) years old now so MAY need replacing - I hope not.
