I purchased my Oticon hearing aids approximately three and one half years ago. Cost $2,500. At first I was thrilled to improve my hearing. As time went on I realized that I still could not understand TV conversations, the priest at mass, movie characters or people...

I have tried all of the usual repair ideas, including the battery and the mini wax ear protectors. Nothing. I was left high and dry in the middle of a meeting. I am so frustrated. This hearing aid cost me $2500 and 15 months into wearing it, (and after much frustration...

Frustration in using Oticon herding aid, don't buy

Regularly my Oticon hearing aid goes into Demo mode and there is no way you get out of demo mode without going back to the dealer. The dealer in Toledo is very nice but days go by without the use of my hearing aid. Do not buy their defective $7000 product JUNK.

I bought a $3200 set of aids; streamer; microphone and TV connector device. The volume in the hearing aids drops after every phone call. The store tried many times to make "adjustments". When I tried to get a refund and return the hearing aids and equipment, Oticon...

I am also experiencing receiver/speaker replacements every 3-4 few months in each ear. The hearing aid is 1 1/2 years old. I use a dehumidifier, religiously replace the filter every 2 weeks and clean the unit every night. The audiologist agrees this is not normal but...
